Day 01 :

Marrakech – Aït Ben Haddou – Dades Valley

Your shared 3-day desert adventure begins with an early morning departure from Marrakech, crossing the spectacular High Atlas Mountains through the winding roads of Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m). Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of valleys and traditional Berber villages nestled in the mountainsides.
Our first major stop will be the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most iconic sites, famous for its earthen architecture and as a filming location for Hollywood movies such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Take your time to wander through its narrow alleys, explore its towers, and feel the ancient charm of this Berber fortress.

After a traditional Moroccan lunch, we continue toward Ouarzazate, known as “the Hollywood of Africa,” before heading to the beautiful Skoura Oasis, home to palm groves and well-preserved Kasbahs. The journey continues through the Roses Valley and the dramatic landscapes of the Dades Gorges. Arrive in Dades Valley by evening, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a charming local hotel.

Day 02 :

Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, the journey continues through the Todra Gorges, a natural wonder renowned for its towering red cliffs reaching up to 300 meters. Take time to walk along the river and capture incredible photos of the stunning rock formations.

Next, we pass through the towns of Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, famous for fossil workshops and palm groves, before heading to the vast Sahara Desert. As we approach Merzouga, prepare for the highlight of the trip — a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Watch the magical sunset from atop your camel and admire how the dunes shift colors from orange to gold under the setting sun.

Arrive at your traditional Berber desert camp, where a warm welcome, mint tea, and Moroccan dinner await. Afterward, enjoy Berber drumming and songs around the campfire under a sky filled with millions of stars — a truly unforgettable Sahara experience.

Day 03 :

Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Wake up early to witness one of the most spectacular moments in the desert — the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. The soft morning light creates perfect photo opportunities before enjoying breakfast at the camp.

We then begin our return journey to Marrakech, driving through the Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest river valley, dotted with thousands of palm trees and ancient Kasbahs. Along the way, we’ll make a stop in Ouarzazate for lunch and to visit the Kasbah Taourirt, a historical stronghold of the Glaoui family.

After lunch, we continue through the scenic High Atlas Mountains, crossing Tizi n’Tichka once again before reaching Marrakech in the evening. Your shared 3-day Sahara experience concludes with drop-off at your accommodation or a central meeting point in Marrakech — leaving you with lifelong memories of Morocco’s desert magic.
